The nation responded timely and appropriately to the terrible terrorism in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
However, abortion (individual killing of the unborn) attracts almost no attention, even when close to home: recently released information for 2010 records 117 abortions by Cole County women and 363 by Boone County women; Kansas preliminary data for 2011 lists 3,857 abortions in Kansas by women from Missouri.
