Prep Baseball: Jays 9, Camdenton 0

CAMDENTON, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays scored in six of the seven innings Saturday in a 9-0 blanking of the Camdenton Lakers in the Central Bank Wood Bat Tournament.

Corey Beard got the win on the mound for the Jays, scattering three hits while striking out 12.

Gabe Marcantonio drove in two runs in the victory. Driving in one run each were Hayden Stobel, Rylie Klosterman, Ripken Dodson, Alex Johnson, Jake Pridgin and Adam Grunden.

The Jays (15-3) are back in action Tuesday at Lebanon.
