KC police find no bomb after threat at H&R Block

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Kansas City police say no bomb was found after someone called in a threat at the downtown headquarters for tax preparer H&R Block.

Police spokesman Darin Snapp says someone called in Tuesday morning to say a bomb had been placed on the loading dock at the Block building. He says police searched the area and found no bomb or anything else dangerous.

Police were called to the same building Monday on the report of a suspicious package that was also later determined to be harmless.
