Latoya King was named the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Women's Track Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Billiken Invitational on Saturday in St. Louis.
She won two races including the 200-meter dash (23.63) and the 100-meter dash (11.65). Her time in the 200-meter dash was an automatic qualifying time for the outdoor national championships. Her time in the 100-meter dash was a provisional qualifying time.
This is the fourth time this year King has been honored by the conference.
