Prep Baseball: Russellville splits at Waynesville

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. - Russellville took second in the Waynesville Tournament after going 1-1 on Saturday.

The Indians opened with a 5-3 loss to the host school.

Kaleb Libbert took the loss, allowing five runs (three earned) in six innings.

Clayton Meyer went 3-for-3 with an RBI, and Tanner Morrow went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Russellville responded with an 11-1 victory in five innings against Oran.

Meyer went 2-for-3 with three RBI, Morrow went 2-for-3 with two RBI, Chase Smith picked up two hits and Libbert went 1-for-4 with two RBI.

Chandler Wolf picked up the winning, going five innings and allowing one run on two hits with seven strikeouts.

Russellville (8-4) hosts Tuscumbia on Monday.
