LINN, Mo. - The Linn Wildcats opened the Linn Invitational with a 10-3 win against Hermann on Friday night.
Jake Mebruer pounded out two hits and four RBI for the winners, while Kyle Nolting had two hits and two RBI.
Also for the Wildcats, Joe Voss had one hit and three RBI and Alec Shoop had two hits.
Shoop was also the winning pitcher, while Blake Snyder got the save.
Linn (3-4) will play Owensville at 9 a.m. Saturday in the event.
