Early Sunday morning, Jefferson City police responded to a call of a possible unconscious person under the overpass at the intersection of Industrial Drive and West McCarty Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they found Christie Otto, 39, of Jefferson City, who was confirmed to be deceased.
Detectives found no sign of any struggle, nor were there any indications of foul play at the scene.
Family members were notified and detectives are still investigating the circumstances of Otto's death, along with her actions leading up to the time of her death.

Jefferson City police are investigating the death of a 39-year-old Jefferson City woman found near the intersection of West McCarty Street and Industrial Drive.
