JC Council to discuss proposed conference center RFP

City Administrator wants quick approval so request can be sent out

The Jefferson City Council will discuss the draft request for proposals (RFP) for a conference center Monday, and one city official hopes staff will be given the green light to send out the requests.

City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus said he anticipates the council will request a few changes during the meeting, but hopes the council then will take action on the issue and allow staff to send out the RFPs.
