It doesn't take that vivid of an imagination to see a 4-0 start for the Helias Crusaders.

A one-point overtime loss to start the season at Harrisonville and a frantic finish that came up just short against Hickman last Friday in Columbia both could have turned in Helias' favor.

But in reality, the Crusaders are 2-2 heading into Friday night's game against the Vashon Wolverines (2-2) at Adkins Stadium.

"Going through those first four games with that tough of a schedule and to be that close to being 4-0 could be tough on the kids and they could start to doubt themselves" Helias coach Phil Pitts said. "But they're not down, they're focused on what's ahead.

"We just need to fix a couple of things and we've done that and we're ready to keep fighting."
