Mid-Missouri housing market shows signs of improvement

Jefferson City isn't experiencing a housing boom, but leaders in the Mid-Missouri real estate market say they are seeing glimmers of improvement.

Chris Christian, president of the Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors, noted 776 single-family homes have been sold in 2012 to date, up from 645 for the same time period in 2011 - a 20 percent increase.
