Blair Oaks, Osage both like up-tempo game

WARDSVILLE - If you're heading out to the Falcon Athletic Complex for Friday's game between the Blair Oaks Falcons and the School of the Osage Indians, you might want to bring plenty of money for the concession stand.

That's because you may need some snacks to make it through a game that could turn out to be a lengthy one.

The Falcons (4-0 overall, 2-0 Tri-County Conference) come into the contest averaging 40 points and 418 yards of offense per game, while the Indians (3-1, 2-0) counter with 37 points and 447 yards per contest.

"We're going to be very compatible, size-wise, and they're trying to do some of the same things we are, which is get after people with speed," Blair Oaks coach Brad Drehle said of the Indians. "You're going to see them push the pace. They're going to go no-huddle, I'm not sure if it's quite as quick as we do, but it's a pretty quick pace."
