Your Opinion: Magazine details Romney's dealings

Dear Editor:

For those interested the current issue of Rolling Stone magazine (Sept. 13) has an article on Mitt Romney and his dealing at Bain Capital called "Greed and Debt."

It tells of Romney's way of conducting business not what we were told and shown at the Republican convention.

Mitt talks about debt on the campaign trail. That's how he made his fortune, sticking others with debt (see article). Mitt didn't produce, he made deals, leveraged buyouts, hostile takeovers. Remember those terms?

The article says Mitt's fortune wouldn't have been possible without direct assistance from the U.S. government. Mitt and his sidekick have been talking down government.

If Mitt gets elected in November and he runs our economy like Bain did business, well use your conservative or your liberal imagination. Not good.

Also I bought a book titled, "One Nation Under Gods" by Richard Abanes. It's a big book on the history of the Morman religion and their beliefs.

I believe most Christians would fine it very interesting and compare it to traditional Christian belief.

Also three cheers to Linda Wenzlick's letters published recently.
