FINAL SCORE: Truman 42, Lincoln 12

Lincoln will be giving Truman State a going-away present. The Blue Tigers just hope it's not a very nice one.

Truman State, in its last year as a member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, continues its farewell tour by hosting Lincoln at 7 p.m. tonight at Stokes Stadium in Kirksville.

"It's a great opportunity to get a win," Lincoln head coach Mike Jones said, laughing off the idea of sending the Bulldogs off with a loss. "We're looking for our first win in the MIAA. We'll take whoever we're playing against to get a win. This opportunity's Truman State, so hopefully we'll come prepared for these guys and be able to come out with a victory."

Truman State opened up its final season in the league with a 24-14 victory over Southwest Baptist. The Bulldogs will head to the Great Lakes Valley Conference starting in the 2013 school year.
