Michael Roling has made many apps in his life, but was recently awarded a cash prize of $1,500 from Jefferson City for his development of the JCMO app.
Last week, the city announced Roling as the winner of the city's first mobile app contest. The JCMO app features social media tied to Jefferson City, including local media and city updates, as well as a guide to food, lodging and entertainment in the area. It is available free on the Apple app store or iTunes.
