COLUMBIA, Mo. - Little has gone right for Missouri in its first season in the Southeastern Conference.
Suffering through an 0-4 start to conference play, the Tigers finally caught a break, even if it was just a bye week.
"We've had some issues, so it's good timing where it came," Missouri coach Gary Pinkel said of the off week. "You've got half the conference schedule left and one nonconference game."
Issues might be an understatement. The Tigers (3-4 overall) have been outscored 133-55 in their four conference games. Outside of a close loss to Vanderbilt, and the first half against Georgia, the Tigers have offered little resistance against some of the conference's best teams.
