The Missouri Child Identification Program on Saturday added 35 children to those who have already gone through the program, bringing the total to 159,464 children.
MoCHIP is designed to give parents essential information about their child, so that they in turn can provide this to law enforcement if their child is missing or abducted.
Saturday's event, held at Masonic Lodge 43, was a success, said Dale Roller, the program's southwest Missouri regional coordinator. "There are no failures, whether it's three kids of 370 kids" who show up, he said.
