Letterman, Winfrey to talk together at Ball State

MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) - David Letterman will hold a conversation with Oprah Winfrey at Ball State University next month.

The Nov. 26 event begins at 4 p.m. in the 3,300-seat Emens Auditorium on the Muncie campous.

The university said Tuesday that free tickets will be limited to two per person and will be made available to students Nov. 7, to university faculty and staff the following day, and to the general public beginning at 9 a.m. Nov. 9 at the Emens Box Office.

The conversation is part of the David Letterman Distinguished Professional Lecture and Workshop Series established in 2008 with a donation from the Ball State alumnus and comedian.

Winfrey is a philanthropist and former talk show host who created the OWN cable network.
