Linn man killed in Osage Co. wreck

A Linn man was killed in a three vehicle accident, Thursday night, in Osage County.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, the accident occurred on U.S. 50, two miles east of County Road 810, around 9:30 p.m.

Michael Keeling Jr., 20, Linn, was attempting to pass a tractor trailer driven by Christopher Binnie, 55, Sedalia, when he went into the path of another tractor trailer, driven by Herman Farris, 63, Montreal.

After hitting Farris's truck, Keeling's vehicle traveled back into the path of Binnie's truck.

Those two vehicle's collided and Keeling, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from his vehicle.

Keeling's vehicle and the trailer on Farris's truck caught fire.

Farris and Binnie had no reported injuries and both were wearing their seat belts.
