After a 10-11 regular season, the Jefferson City Lady Jays opened postseason play with a bang.
Allyson Metz and Brooke Rozier both hit two-run homers as Jefferson City cruised to a 10-0 five-inning victory over Camdenton in the opening round of the Class 4 District 9 Tournament on Wednesday night at Rock Bridge.
"We had some good hits," Jefferson City coach Lisa Dey said. "We were fine and played good ball. Allyson hits a nice shot, Brooke gets a nice shot.
