More than one year after initial discussions began, Jefferson City is looking again at how to handle downtown parking when residents are mixed with businesses and customers.
At the Council Committee on Administration meeting Wednesday, Operations Division Director Britt Smith presented a new proposal for residential downtown parking permits.
Last year, the city began a series of meetings and public forums on the issue while trying to come up with a program that would work for residents, businesses and customers.
