Council discusses changes to Chamber contract

Jefferson City is looking to renew its contract with the local Chamber of Commerce, but not without new performance measures.

At the Council Committee on Administration meeting Wednesday, City attorney Drew Hilpert said proposed measures with the chamber contract would give the City Council an idea of how successful the joint venture is between the city and chamber.

Hilpert said some proposed metrics were sent to Chamber President and CEO Randy Allen, who sent an alternate list of measures to consider.
