Missouri looks for victory vs. Syracuse on Senior Day

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Missouri defensive coordinator Dave Steckel vividly remembers his final high school football game.

He remembers everything from the tape he wore to how he took off his uniform for the last time.

And he knows Missouri's 18 seniors will remember the same details when they walk off Faurot Field for the final time following today's 6 p.m. game (ESPNU-TV) against Syracuse.

"I was actually the last guy to leave the locker room," Steckel said. "That's the point I try to make to the seniors and to the underclassmen is they'll remember the last game the rest of their lives."

Steckel's Kutztown team lost in the Pennsylvania state title game 17-14 to Clarendon that day.

He doesn't want the Tigers to leave Faurot for the final time the way he ended his high-school career.
