It will be difficult for the sequel to be any closer than the original.

Make that impossible.

In Week 1 of the season, Helias traveled to Harrisonville and the Crusaders dropped a 38-37 decision in overtime to the Wildcats.

The stakes are a little higher this afternoon when the Crusaders (9-4, ranked No. 5) and Wildcats (11-2, ranked No. 6) meet in the Class 4 semifinals in Harrisonville.

"After that first game, I thought this would be a potential semifinal game," Helias coach Phil Pitts said. "Now, here it is."

The Crusaders feel like they have a pretty good idea of what the Wildcats will bring to the 1:30 p.m. contest.

Live video coverage of the game will be webcast online at Fox Sports Midwest Prep Zone.

Live audio coverage of the game will be broadcast on KWOS 950 AM and online at kwos.com.
