Sandy volunteers 'do the best we can'

For volunteers helping with East Coast relief efforts after Hurricane Sandy, days are starting to run together. "I think it's Friday, right?" Red Cross Heart of Missouri Chapter volunteer Steve Stacey of Jefferson City laughed as he paused from coordinating emergency response vehicles.

Stacey is based at Fox River, N.J., about 60 miles north of Atlantic City. He's been there since Halloween, helping feed those affected by the storm, taking food to shelters and community centers.

The 20 vehicles he's in charge of are manned by 90 team members.
