Mid-Missouri incumbents returned to state House

Three incumbent Republicans will be back in the Missouri House in January.

In unofficial returns, Jefferson City voters gave incumbent Jay Barnes a second two-year term. Colleague Mike Bernskoetter, R-Jefferson City, was sent back to the Capitol for a second two-year term.

More than 10,300 Callaway County voters - plus 704 Cole County voters who live just northwest of Jefferson City - sent Assistant Majority Leader Jeanie Riddle, R-Mokane, back to the House for a third term.
