Daughter of missing woman dies in Gasconade County crash

A teenage girl from Bland, and the daughter of a missing mid-Missouri woman, was killed and two other girls were injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Gasconade County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports Samantha N. Lock, 15, was a passenger in a Ford Ranger at 12:51 p.m. when it skidded off Boettcher Road just east of Route A. The pickup truck then struck a tree and burned.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner.

Maven D. Robertson, 15, of Wentzville, also was a passenger in the vehicle. A helicopter ambulance flew her to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries.

The driver -- Sarah K. Anderson, 16, of Vichy -- received moderate injuries in the crash, according to the patrol. An ambulance took her to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.

The group Missouri Missing announced that Samantha was the daughter of Jasmine Haslag, who went missing in June 2007 in Russellville, after telling her three young children she would pick them up the next day. Her case was ruled a homicide in 2008, but the case remains unsolved.
