Tuesday's observance of President Harry Truman's birthday is a state holiday.
Missouri and Jefferson City government offices will be closed, including the courts - except law enforcement and emergency services, and those state offices connected with the Legislature.
The city's Jefftran bus service won't operate Tuesday.
It is not a federal government holiday, and those offices - including the U.S. Postal Service - will operate as usual.
Area schools will remain open.
And it will be business as usual at the Missouri River, Daniel Boone and Heartland regional libraries.
