The Cole County Commission has awarded contracts to Jefferson Asphalt to do the county's 2012 asphalt overlay and chip and seal programs.
At Wednesday's commission meeting, commissioners were told Jefferson Asphalt had the low bid of $1,495,077 for the asphalt work.
