Cantorum to celebrate movie, Broadway hits Saturday

The Jefferson City Cantorum will sing the hits of stage and screen Saturday in its 44th spring concert.

The community choir is slated to perform songs from "Beauty and the Beast," "The Wizard of Oz," and "Fiddler on the Roof," among others, in its annual concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Miller Performing Arts Center.

Tickets for the spring concert are $10 for adults, $5 for children 18 and younger, and $8 for adults older than 65. Group tickets also are available for families of three to five for $25.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at Samuel's Tuxedos and Gifts, Hawthorn Bank East, or Central Bank West. Tickets also will be available at the door Saturday, though prices will be $1 higher at the door.
