DANVILLE, Ark. - A hole-in-one by Steven Mallow was the highlight of the tournament for the Lincoln men's golf team in the David Falconer Memorial Invitational.
Mallow recorded his feat on the 13th hole of the Chamerlyne Country Club during the first day of the two-day event hosted by Arkansas Tech University.
The Blue Tigers finished 12th out of 14 teams in the event with a team total of 322-305-627. Northeastern State won the tournament with a 291-288-579.
Eric Kosmatka paced the Blue Tigers, as he finished at 9-over par with a total of 78-75-153 on the par-72 course to tie for 35th overall.
Also for the Blue Tigers, Jacob Sandbothe finished 38th (80-74-154), Mallow was 44th (80-76-154) and Kyle Brennaman tied for 63rd (84-80-164).
