Lincoln first baseman Isaac Cater can't come up with a wayward pick-off throw as Truman State's Steven Rose slides safely back to the bag during game two of Tuesday's doubleheader at Lincoln Field.

It took the entire first half of the season, but the Lincoln baseball team appears to have things heading in the right direction.

Fresh off a very competitive doubleheader Sunday at Missouri Western, which was capped by a victory in the second game, the Blue Tigers kept the momentum going in a home doubleheader Tuesday against Truman State University.

After a 4-2 victory in the opener gave Lincoln its first winning streak of the season, the Blue Tigers fell victim to 13 runners left on base while losing the nightcap 11-5.
