Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, members of the Cole County Sheriff's Department and the MUSTANG Drug Task Force conducted a drug bust Monday afternoon.
According to Cole County Sheriff Greg White, the incident occurred in the 5200 block of S. Brooks Drive around 2:30 p.m.
A Cole County resident was taken into custody.
An eighth of an ounce of crack cocaine was also seized at that time.
The name of the person taken into custody was not released pending the filing of formal charges.
