GEORGETOWN, Colo. (AP) - A jury has convicted a man of killing one person and wounding three others at a Colorado bar.
The Vail Daily (http://bit.ly/wtMaJS) reports jurors deliberated for almost 10 hours Friday before finding Richard "Rossi" Moreau guilty in the Nov. 7, 2009, shooting in West Vail.
Moreau was convicted of all eight felony counts, including first-degree murder for the slaying of Dr. Gary Bruce Kitching of Carbondale.
Prosecutors say Moreau shot Kitching three times and wounded three others after he was ushered out of the Sandbar. The conviction means Moreau will automatically be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Moreau has said he suffered a blackout triggered by post-traumatic stress disorder he claimed resulted from his time in the Vietnam War.
