2 St. Louis teens killed in early morning crash

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Two teenagers have been killed in an early morning crash in St. Louis after their car struck a median and hit two oncoming cars.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/xsl7zw) reports 18-year-old Armanji Ahmed was driving a 2004 Infiniti and 17-year-old Qais Noreen was a passenger when the crash happened around 12:35 a.m. Saturday on Kingshighway.

Police say two cars were traveling side-by-side, likely at high speed, when Ahmed swerved to avoid another vehicle and struck the car next to his.

The Infiniti flipped into the northbound lanes and hit the other two cars. Both Ahmed and Noreen were ejected and later pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Three others in the other three cars were treated for minor injuries.
