2 dead in Ohio storm, possible tornadoes

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say a second person has died in storms in southwest Ohio, where National Weather Service reports say several possible tornados touched down.

Clermont County spokeswoman Kathy Lehr said Friday 64-year-old Carol Forsee, a Moscow Village Council member, was found dead in her home in hard-hit Moscow. Fifty-four-year-old James Prater of Bethel was the other storm victim. He was found dead in his mobile home in Bethel, about 35 miles southeast of Cincinnati. Lehr said as many as eight people were injured.

The National Weather Service received reports of possible tornados in at least six different cities and towns, as storms tore across several Ohio counties as part of a system stretching from the Gulf Coast to the Great Lakes. As many as 28 people died in the storms.
