The acclaimed documentary "Hoop Dreams" was released 18 years ago. Yet the lessons the film teaches transcend time.
Arthur Agee Jr., one of the leads in the 1994 documentary, spoke to hoopsters about his experiences at the Lincoln University high-school basketball camp Wednesday at Jason Gym in Jefferson City.
"It's not mind-boggling, it's just being part of that film, you did not know that it was going to last the test of time," Agee said. "It's a circle of life type film that will always be engrained in the sport of basketball."
