An Illinois woman was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when she was thrown from her motorcycle in Callaway County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports Susan M. Tyler, 50, was driving the motorcycle northbound on U.S. 54 a half-mile south of County Road 252 when vehicle defects caused it to roll onto its side.
She was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia following the 12:25 p.m. wreck.
