JC School Board, admins look to future

Jefferson City Public Schools leaders are looking at ways to improve how students learn in their education careers, during a two-day retreat that ends this afternoon.

"This is the beginning of a long-term process of continuous improvement," said Paul Pitchford, the Missouri School Boards Association's associate executive director, who's serving as the retreat's facilitator, to the 50 educators Thursday morning. "The bottom line is, we want to see every kid, every day, getting the education they need."
