Getting to see one of the stars of "Hoop Dreams" will be a hoops reality next week for some lucky players.
As a part of the four-day Lincoln University basketball camp for high-school players that starts Monday at Jason Gym, Arthur Agee Jr. will be on hand to offer his unique story.
Agee and William Gates were the two leads in the 1994 documentary that garnered praise from critics across the country. It profiled the lives of the two players as incoming high school freshmen all the way through the start of their college careers. The sometimes stark, but always riveting, movie showed the ups and downs of pursuing a dream of playing in the NBA, and the hurdles that cropped up along the way.
