A cute, stone house with green trim has sat at the corner of Atchison Street and Clark Avenue, vacant but sound.
Since moving to Elmerine Avenue in 2003, Patrick Lynn has passed that corner multiple times daily admiring the little bungalow and seeing the potential for restoration within many of the neighboring architecture.
In the last year, the Old Town Revitalization Company coordinated the renovations of what is now the Common Ground Community Center at the northwest corner of Atchison Street and Clark Avenue. And the River City Habitat for Humanity has taken on a few restorations along Clark Ave.
Lynn, too, has stepped up to see neighborhood improvements continue on the south corridor off of Whitton Expressway.
