As the move to the new Jefferson City Animal Shelter takes place, both the old animal shelter on East Miller Street and the new animal shelter on Hyde Park Road will be closed to the public.
No adoptions will take place to allow for the movement of all facility equipment and animals.
The new shelter will be open for business on Friday, June 8th, from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m., and will again be open Saturday, June 9th for those same hours.
Effective Monday, June 11th, the Shelter will resume normal business hours of 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
