Dear Editor:
Kudos to the officials of Boy Scouts of America for standing firm on their decision to not allow homosexuals into their leadership ranks. The recent Penn State scandal is all the more reason for them not to give in to the rantings and ravings of the homosexual community.
A homosexual/pedophile would be "like a kid in a candy store' among a group of young boys.
Tolerance of their lifestyle has been the mantra of homosexuals ever since they began "coming out of the closet" Why doesn't that tolerance work both ways? Why aren't' they tolerant of the fact that "straight" parents have the right to not want their children exposed to a homosexual "leader?"
Too often, children have been entrusted to the care of someone who seemed to be trustworthy as in the case of Jerry Sandusky. Our most precious "natural resource" deserves to be protected not thrown to the wolves.
