COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) - Fabian Castillo scored in the 81st minute and FC Dallas ended a 13-game winless streak with a 2-1 victory over Colorado on Saturday.
Castillo assisted on the game-tying goal by Carlos Rodriguez in the 60th minute. Rodriguez also had an assist for FC Dallas (4-9-7).
FC Dallas had not won since beating Montreal on April 14. The team was 0-7-6 since.
Omar Cummings scored in the 50th minute for Colorado (7-11-1) The Rapids lost for the third straight time, matching their season high.
EARTHQUAKES 5, REAL SALT LAKE 0
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) - Chris Wondolowski earned a hat trick and San Jose got a victory against Real Salt Lake.
Wondolowski scored in the 19th, 72nd and 80th minutes to extend his league-leading goal total to 17 on the year.
Alan Gordon tapped home a loose rebound from 3 yards in the 63rd minute and Simon Dawkins scored at short range off a 79th-minute corner kick to complete the scoring for San Jose (12-4-4), which is four points clear of Real Salt Lake (11-7-3) in the standings.
GALAXY 5, TIMBERS 3
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - David Beckham and Robbie Keane each scored two goals to lead Los Angeles over Portland.
Landon Donovan had a goal and an assist for the Galaxy (8-10-2), who handled the Timbers defense.
Portland (5-9-4) struggled in its first game since coach John Spencer was fired and Gavin Wilkinson took over the team.
Kris Boyd scored two goals for the Timbers, who lost for only the third time in 10 games at Jeld-Wen Field this season.
FIRE 1, WHITECAPS 0
BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (AP) - Midfielder Pavel Pardo scored on an early free kick and Chicago snapped a 221-minute scoreless streak on the way to a victory.
The Fire (9-6-4, 31 points) prevailed despite playing a man short for the final 21 minutes after defender Arne Friedrich was ejected with a second yellow card.
The Whitecaps (8-6-6, 30 points) suffered their second straight loss and third in a five-game road swing.
Chicago was awarded a free kick in the ninth minute when Whitecaps midfielder Jun Marques Davidson tripped Fire midfielder Patrick Nyarko on a run outside the box.
Pardo then lined a 23-yard kick into the right corner for his first goal of the season in the ninth minute.
SPORTING KANSAS CITY 2, CREW 0
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Jacob Peterson and Teal Bunbury scored, and Sporting Kansas City beat Columbus to grab sole possession of first place in the Eastern Conference.
Kansas City (11-5-3) took the lead in the sixth minute when Peterson Joseph split the defense with a pass to Peterson, who beat goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum for the 1-0 lead. Bunbury got the second goal in the 82nd minute off a counterattack.
Jimmy Nielsen made four saves for his eighth shutout of the season. He got help in the 48th minute when Justin Meram's header went off the crossbar.
Columbus (6-7-4) has dropped three of four.
TORONTO FC 1, REVOLUTION 0
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Rookie midfielder Luis Silva scored in the eighth minute and Toronto FC downed New England.
Toronto (4-11-4) snapped a six-match winless skid in Foxboro, while also ending New England's five-match unbeaten skid.
Silva was making just his second start since May 26. He finished off a pass from Danny Koevermans, who threaded the ball through a trio of Revolution defenders.
Silva delivered the ball past New England goalie Bobby Shuttleworth, making just his second start of the season, into the lower right corner of the net.
New England (6-8-4) was shut out for the sixth time this season.
UNION 2, IMPACT 1
CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - Carlos Valdes' goal in the 91st minute lifted Philadelphia past Montreal.
Lionard Pajoy also scored for the Union (6-9-2), who won their third in a row and fourth in five games.
The Impact registered an own goal in the 90th minute after a corner kick by Patrice Bernier eluded Philadelphia goalkeeper Zac MacMath.
Eight minutes earlier, Antoine Hoppenot sent a pass into the box, which was deflected toward Pajoy and he sent it past goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts in the 82nd minute.
The Impact have lost four of five and fell to 6-12-3.
