When neighbors greeted Zora Mulligan after she moved into her Elmerine Avenue home on July 1, 2011, they ended the meeting by asking, "Do you have any tables?"
It was then Mulligan was informed the responsibility of setting up tables for the street-wide picnic on Independence Day went with the house.
After their introduction to the annual Fourth of July celebration on Elmerine, Mulligan and her daughter Anna Lea, 6, joked that perhaps they'll have a party in their front yard every day, she said.
This year, Mulligan was ready to do more than bring tables.
