Jefferson City is where Kyle Trimble wants to be.

Trimble, a native of Moline, Ill., came to Jefferson City when his parents bought a funeral home in 1995 that became Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

Trimble graduated from Jefferson City High School in 2003, and left for the several years as he attended college in both Springfield and Kansas City.

"I wanted to come back to Jefferson City. And I if I had not come back right after college, then I would come back like a lot of my friends are as they start to have families. Jefferson City is home," he said sitting in his office at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

Trimble noted his parents wanted him to have a college education and degree to fall back on, in case he decided he didn't want to have a role in the family business.

During the summers while in college, Trimble came home and worked for his parents in the funeral home. He grew to love it, and knew it was meant for him.

"I worked here with Mom and Dad during the summers, and really came to love the interaction we have with the families and appreciate the impact we can have on a trying time for them," he said. "When a family comes and tells us and that we made a hard time for them even more "bearable.' It may not seem like much but it really means a lot to us."
