With just nine players on the varsity roster, the Jefferson City Lady Jays have a short bench.

Take away one player and the bench gets even more condensed. Not that the Lady Jays noticed.

"We don't talk too much about injuries, we have the philosophy of next man up," Jefferson City coach Shane Meyer said after the Lady Jays dispatched the Waynesville Lady Tigers 75-51 on Tuesday night at Fleming Fieldhouse.
