Missouri River Regional Library's first and second floors will be transformed into a mini-golf course, complete with 18 holes that weave through the library's book stacks.

The library, located at 214 Adams St. in Jefferson City, will close at 3 p.m. today (Saturday) so library staff and volunteers can transform the library into a mini-golf course.

The library will reopen at 5 p.m. today for the annual event, which is the biggest library foundation fundraiser to be held at the library.

The event costs $5 per person or $15 for a family, which would include two adults and up to four children. The event will end at 9 p.m.

All proceeds from the event will go to help digitize the library.
