The Jefferson City Police Department will be joining efforts with statewide law enforcement Friday for an aggressive "Click It or Ticket" mobilization to get more motorists to buckle up.
Authorities say that despite evidence proving the benefits of wearing a seat belt, nearly 1 in 4 Missouri motorists are still not buckling up.
They also point out that 7 out of 10 Missourians killed in traffic crashes are unbuckled.
