Increase in ticket prices, new surface at Faurot Field coming this fall

Missouri's move to the Southeastern Conference means the atmosphere at Faurot Field will be a little different next season. And more expensive.

In a letter to fans posted on the Missouri website, athletic director Mike Alden announced several changes people will see next season at Faurot Field.

The most notable is an increase in ticket prices. The price of season tickets has not been announced, but the letter said there will be an rise across the board except for students and faculty. Last year, before donations to the Tiger Scholarship Fund, season tickets were $319 for the general public. There will also be an increase in the minimum amount fans must donate to purchase priority tickets.
