Jays fall to Hawklets

The Jefferson City Jays dropped their ninth straight game Friday night, falling 70-39 to Rockhurst at Fleming Fieldhouse.

Rockhurst (20-5) shot 49 percent from the floor, held the Jays to 32 percent on the night, out-rebounded the Jays 35-25 and only turned the ball over four times.

The Hawklets opened up an 8-2 lead and went up 16-9 after the first quarter.
